SPREADING HOPE

Since we launched the Hope Grows Here Community Project, more than 650 people have signed up to help spread hope and encouragement throughout our communities. While you are staying home and staying healthy, you can help others through Hope Grows Here.

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

  • We kicked off the project by inviting everyone to make window gardens to honor health care workers and other essential workers (grocery store employees, delivery drivers, postal workers, etc.). We love watching these beautiful windows popping up all over our neighborhoods (view our online window gallery). Create your window and tag us on social media @multicarehealth and using the hashtag #HOPEGROWSHERE.
  • Local artist, Nina Hartman, created a Hope Grows Here coloring book for people of all ages to enjoy. Share this with your friends and family.
  • Did you know you can sign up to volunteer for the Crisis Text Line and provide much-needed mental health support from home? Check out our full list of service opportunities. Try some of them out and let us know how it goes by sending us a message at stories@multicare.org.
  • Keep it up! Your creative contributions have a profound impact. Read this story about a group of respiratory therapists who have been inspired by your support.
  • Tell us about inspiring acts of community support. Email us at stories@multicare.org.

I'm excited to share our program
Youth Advocacy Project (YAP).

YAP was developed three years ago by Karissa Thompson, Rotary Past President. Karissa wanted to find a way to connect community members and local non-profits to the needs in the school district. She has formed a round-table that meets quarterly to discuss and shine light on the needs of our youth. As a group they work together to find solutions for each need. We are making an effort to build resources and unite many talented people who are determined to make a difference. We would love to have you be a part of making a difference!
